is Typhoon Haiyan, or Typhoon Yolanda as it's been classified in the Philippines.
it's likely the strongest storm to make landfall in recorded human history. it's more powerful than Sandy or Katrina. even worse, it's hitting the Philippines right after a massive earthquake struck the central Philippines in October.
this storm is ridiculous. some of the video coming out of the PI is hard to watch.
