Thank you for coming to this thread, which is about the video game Destiny™, made by Bungie®, the developers of Halo™.

Destiny™ is a video game available now on all of today's hottest home video game consoles. It is not available for the Atari® 2600™. Do not ask for this version - the Best Buy® employee™ you ask will look confused, and then horrified. As his face turns a pallid white, he will reach under the counter surreptitiously and trigger a silent alarm. You will be taken away and beaten, justly, until you have been deemed re-educated and can match twenty of today's hottest brands to silhouettes of their logos.
Destiny is a game about shooting aliens; they are often, but - importantly - NOT ALWAYS robots. Keep this in mind.
HOT NEW PATCH PROS/CONS
PRO: Level 24 Strike Playlists now sometimes award Legendary equipment!
CON: All loot caves have been destroyed, utterly. If you have ever used a loot cave, Bungie has also hid a day-old fish somewhere in your home's ventilation system.
PRO: Purple Engrams will no longer decode to blue equipment!
CON: Purple Engrams have been removed from the game.
PRO: Blue Engrams will no longer decode to green equipment!
CON: Despite all the time you've spent playing this game, levelling up, and upgrading your equipment, you will never overcome the deep, existential dread you feel in your darkest moments, that everything - the entirety of your life's experience - might ultimately be devoid of meaning. That same dread you stave off, desperately, through the acquisition and use of consumer entertainment products.
