First of all, a little backstory: I trained with Mr Miyagi several years ago. When we first started working together, I was a snotnosed brat that didn't know the first thing about integrity, discipline, or patience. But together we changed all of that. Miyagi sensei truly helped me reach my potential, and I ended up winning many tournaments over several years thanks to his tutelage, guidance, and trust in me. After I graduated highschool I moved out and left the dojo on what I thought were good terms, but it's been years now and Mr Miyagi is still showing up at my house telling me to wax my car, sand my deck, and I don't even have those things, and what's more I feel like that chapter of my life is behind me.
I really respect Mr Miyagi and the lessons he's taught me, but I think maybe he just can't deal with the fact that I left. Is that too arrogant of a thought? What do you guys think?
